Responsibilities
This is a field position, and you would have to be willing to travel throughout the South Bay.
Identify and pursue new business ventures through in-depth market research and strategic lead generation.
Cultivate strong professional relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
Understand industry trends and competitor activities in the Workers Compensation industry to pinpoint emerging opportunities for revenue generation and market expansion.
Qualify leads and develop effective strategies to convert them into loyal customers and valuable partners.
Build and nurture robust relationships with clients, partners, and key industry stakeholders, enhancing business prospects and fostering long-term collaborations.
Ensure the successful implementation of new business initiatives.
Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams, contributing to lead generation and the execution of successful sales strategies.
Oversee business development projects, ensuring they remain on schedule and achieve their intended goals.
Regularly track key performance indicators and provide insightful analysis and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Develop and implement strategic business development plans aligned with overarching company objectives and targets.
Proactively explore new avenues for company growth through various methods, including networking and targeted outreach.
Create compelling proposals, presentations, and business cases for prospective clients and partners.
Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations that facilitate successful client acquisition.
Diligently track and analyze sales data, performance metrics, and evolving market trends, providing valuable insights that shape future business development strategies.
Collaborate with marketing and sales teams in the development of targeted campaigns and initiatives designed to accelerate business growth.
Actively participate in industry events, conferences, and trade shows to expand their network and effectively promote the company's offerings.
Qualifications
Experience in Workers Comp and Personal Injury sales and strategic partnerships. (Preferred)
Strong understanding of market dynamics, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and execute strategic plans and develop/implement long-term business development strategies.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication, active listening, and the ability to build rapport with others.
Strong negotiation skills, the ability to persuade others, and the ability to close deals.
Ability to identify problems, analyze situations, and develop solutions.
Compensation
$70,000 to $95,000 Annually with additional bonuses and incentives.
All compensation ranges are posted based on internal equity, job requirements, experience, and geographical locations. Bonus incentives available.
