Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Project Manager
with a strong background in
construction and restoration
to lead and oversee projects from start to finish. This role involves managing residential and commercial restoration projects, coordinating field operations, and ensuring quality, safety, and client satisfaction throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities
Project Oversight:
Plan, execute, and close out residential and commercial restoration projects on time and within budget.
Client Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, insurance adjusters, and vendors throughout each project.
Field Leadership:
Leverage hands‑on construction or carpentry experience to ensure high standards of workmanship and safety.
Estimating:
Prepare accurate and detailed estimates using
Xactimate
and
Symbility
software, ensuring compliance with insurance and industry pricing.
Team Management:
Coordinate subcontractors, materials, and schedules to ensure smooth execution and minimal downtime.
Quality Control:
Conduct regular site inspections and resolve any issues that could impact timelines or outcomes.
Qualifications
Experience:
5 years of hands‑on experience in construction, restoration, or carpentry.
Software:
Proficient in Xactimate and Symbility.
Project Management:
Track record of managing multiple restoration projects simultaneously.
Communication:
Excellent communication skills with clients, subcontractors, and team.
Certifications:
IICRC and OSHA certifications preferred.
Travel:
Must be willing to travel throughout the Chicagoland area (approximately 80%).
