Manages and maintains overall integrity of department's fundraising database software Raiser's Edge (RE or database), which includes overseeing data entry, data clean-up, troubleshooting issues and recommending policies related to donations from all gift sources. Produces and formats summary reports for internal and external parties. Reconciles Development funds with Finance to ensure proper allocation. Provides operational support, donor stewardship, and administrative support to the department. Works under general supervision.

What You Will Do
Develops and updates procedures for database entry and gift coding.
Collects donor/gift data and payment information; ensures gifts are entered into Raiser's Edge (RE) in an accurate, protected, and timely manner in accordance with donor's wishes.
Maintains donor and gift records; ensures the accuracy and accessibility of the records for continuity of contact throughout the lifetime of donor's relationship with VNS Health.
Inputs or uploads donor, prospect, and former patient information into RE as directed. Assures HIPPA compliance with patient (prospect and donor) information being entered into RE.
Collaborates with Treasury and Finance to ensure proper reconciliation of Development Revenue, including the production of monthly Revenue and Pledge Reports.
Produces and mails donor acknowledgement letters.
Provides data, reporting and specialized mail files for Direct Mail.
Serves as the key contact with Treasury, Accounting and the lock box operations team.
Serves as account manager and primary contact for Raiser's Edge.
Serves as primary contact for matching gift and workplace gift donation programs.
Builds and maintains online donation pages and emails in Raiser's Edge.
Builds and maintains saved queries, exports, and dashboards to support fundraising, stewardship, events, and board reporting.
Works with stakeholders to plan and formulate data requests into queries. Fulfill internal data requests in a timely, accurate, and secure manner.
Completes database projects and other development projects as assigned
Provides cover for the Department Coordinator when needed, including support with the Development Hotline and Development email inbox.
Learns new CRM/Database software, as needed.
Manages and trains interns, as needed.
Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent work experience required
Work Experience:
Minimum of three years database management experience required, preferably in fundraising for social service or health care organization required
Proficiency with Raiser's Edge strongly required
Strong computer/database skills in Excel (Pivot Tables, PowerQuery), Word, and Outlook required
Understanding of data privacy and security best practices required
Ability to analyze and interpret data for fundraising insights required
Understanding of donor lifecycle and fundraising principles required
Excellent oral/written communication, phone etiquette, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills required
Experience stewarding high-end donors, including Board exposure preferred
Pay Range
USD $70,200.00 - USD $87,700.00 /Yr.
