Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a

Senior Acquisition Program Management Professional

with scheduling expertise supporting the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center Armament Directorate Agile Weapons division (AFLCMC/EBX) located at

EGLIN AFB, FL . This position provides acquisition and program management support across the full life cycle of air armament and conventional munitions systems, enabling rapid, data-driven decision making in support of mission-critical programs.

This role supports the development, maintenance, and updating of key acquisition reports and program documentation for major Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition programs. This role is critical in ensuring program offices meet reporting requirements and have the data-driven insights needed for effective decision-making. Scheduling experience highly desired.

Required Qualifications / Skills

Bachelor's degree and 25 years of related experience; OR Master's degree and 15 years of related experience

Must have a current Secret clearance and be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance

Experience managing Integrated Master Plans (IMP) and/or Integrated Master Schedules (IMS)

Experience with DoD acquisition reporting and program management processes

Preferred Qualifications / Skills

Current Top Secret clearance

DAWIA, PMP, or equivalent Program Management certification

Experienced with MS Project, Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), Critical Path Method (CPM)

Responsibilities

Develop and manage Integrated Master Plans (IMP) and Integrated Master Schedules (IMS). Support and advise the Government during source selection activities in a non-decision making advisory role.

Assist with the preparation, maintenance, and updating of acquisition reports, including Monthly Acquisition Reports (MAR), Defense Acquisition Executive Summary (DAES), Selected Acquisition Reports (SAR), Acquisition Program Baselines (APB), and other supplemental reports as required by DoD policy for ACAT I, II, and III programs, in accordance with DoDI 5000.02, AFI 63-101, AFI 63-138, and AFPAM 63-128.

Develop, maintain, and update acquisition reports for specific Government program office requirements and special interest programs designated by the Milestone Decision Authority.

Software & Systems Utilization: Use standardized and specialized software applications such as DAMIR, EDA, PMRT, CRIS, and other DoD-mandated tools.

Plan, evaluate, and implement acquisition strategies in accordance with DoDI 5000.02 and 5000.75 guidance.

Apply qualitative and quantitative techniques to gather, analyze, and measure the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of acquisition programs.

Support the Government program manager in assessing program status against schedule and cost baselines, and recommend viable solutions or alternative courses of action.

Prepare briefings, graphics, and reports in direct support of acquisition program management. Develop, tailor, and deliver dashboard capabilities to aid in Government decision-making and enterprise management.

Develop executive dashboards and reporting tools to support Government decision-making. Conduct qualitative and quantitative program analysis to assess cost, schedule, performance, and risk.

Effectively communicate findings and recommendations, both orally and in writing. Provide high-quality acquisition and program documentation, including briefings, documents, and plans.
