Job Description As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Security Clearance in Redmond, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $27.85 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Monday to Thursday 06:30 AM - 04:30 PM
What You'll Do:
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a high-profile aerospace and defense location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using appropriate judgment while assigned to an armed post.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, controlled areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor access points and verify entry and exit activity in accordance with site protocols, reporting unusual conditions, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns.
Support incident documentation and communication with site contacts, visitors, and Allied Universal personnel regarding security-related concerns and/or response actions.
Minimum Requirements:
Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
Be at least 21 years of age.
An armed guard card/license is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
