Team Leader Position

A team leader is someone who consistently demonstrates our core values, embraces the Chick-fil-A culture, and has a servant's heart. They have a passion for people and for serving others, have a strong character, take initiative, and work with a sense of urgency at all times. Our team leaders are responsible for supporting senior leadership in executing daily operations and keeping team members accountable for each component of operational excellence and our recipe for service. The two main areas of focus for a team leader are completing tasks to make the restaurant run effectively and training/developing team members. Team leaders lead by example and set the tone that others will follow.

Responsibilities of Team Leader:
Participate operationally in daily activities in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant
Offer immediate and respectful response to guest needs
Help in training new employees, set the tone for change, and act as a role model for our team
Be a friendly and encouraging team player
Open and/or close, lead changes, key holder
Count drawers and finalize the day
Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
Lead the shift in the front or back of the house
Qualifications and Requirements:

Strong interpersonal skills with a desire to serve team members
Strong commitment to superior customer service
Ability to handle team member behavior and performance issues
Ability to work in a team environment with shared ownership and responsibility
No prior experience as a team leader, team leader, supervisor, team leader, restaurant manager, or assistant restaurant manager required, but preferred.
Most Chick-fil-A restaurants are operated by independent franchise business owners who make all their own employment decisions and are responsible for their own content and policies.
