We are seeking a candidate with a strong positive attitude toward customer service to act as an Electrician for our Independent Living facility. The right candidate will always strive to do the best job possible, to be creative and to work towards accomplishing facility goals.

Responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures for all common areas, apartments, refurbishments and all other areas as assigned by Supervisor ensuring work is in accordance with relevant codes. Responsible to produce and maintain well-functioning electrical connections to minimize the probability of accidents and maximize usability of electricity campus wide. The goal is to contribute to the construction and maintenance of beautiful, strong and long-lasting living and working areas at Friendship Village.
High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent is required. Minimum of five (5) years experience in commercial or residential housing industries. Diploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed apprenticeship as an electrician. Proven experience as an electrician. Experience in industrial and/or commercial electrical systems. Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g. wire strippers, voltmeter etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints.
