Position Overview
Two positions with Landscapes Unlimited, LLC in Laveen Village, AZ and surrounding areas within the same MSA. Temporary full‑time (07/01/2026 to 11/30/2026). Hours: 6:00 am–2:30 pm, Sunday–Saturday, 40 hrs/week. Base pay: $26.45 per hour, paid bi‑weekly. Overtime pay: $39.68 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
Hands‑on manual labor working on staking, layout, drainage, bunkers, finishing, greens and tees, operating equipment.
Inform crews of the day’s planned activities and equip crews with required tools and materials.
Instruct, supervise, and train crews on assigned tasks, such as irrigation installation, tee and bunker creation, sodding, seeding, staking/flagging, operating and maintaining equipment.
Manage inventory of equipment, supplies, materials, and fuel.
Identify and eliminate potential waste, including irrigation heads, pipe, wire, gravel, and greens mix.
Maintain equipment and tools through routine preventive maintenance.
Assist in maintaining project records such as delivery tickets, purchase orders, safety meeting rosters.
Assist in creating as‑built drawings.
Report potential problems to the Project Superintendent.
Qualifications
At least 12 months of experience in golf course construction and renovation.
Certification as a Certified Pipe Fuser from a recognized vendor (e.g., ISCO, Ewing Irrigation, ADS Hancor).
No formal education required.
Benefits
Optional company housing will be provided free of charge for employees outside of commuting distance. Employees who do not require housing receive a reimbursement of $231.00 per pay period.
Transportation (including meals and lodging when necessary) to the place of employment will be reimbursed by check if the worker completes at least half of the employment period. Return transportation will be paid by the company if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.
Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $16.78 per day during travel, up to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts.
The company will reimburse workers for visa, visa processing, border crossing, and related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees and charges primarily for the worker’s benefit), within the first workweek. Employees traveling by bus will have their fare reimbursed; if they choose to fly, the company will reimburse the bus fare, then pay the plane fare, which is deducted from their pay.
All tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job will be provided at no charge.
