Our client, a leading company in the poultry industry, is seeking a Growout Supervisor to oversee live production operations at contracted poultry farms. The Growout Supervisor will ensure animal health, growout performance, and production targets are achieved while maintaining compliance with biosecurity, animal welfare, and food safety standards.

Position Overview
Permanent Growout Supervisor – Manufacturing industry. Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, strong background in poultry, managing growth and development, hands‑on work and deep understanding of processing plant operations and testing procedures.
Salary
$55,000 – $62,000 per year.
Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations of the poultry growout department to ensure optimal productivity and adherence to established procedures and standards.
Implement and monitor testing procedures to maintain the health and quality of the poultry stock.
Coordinate with other department supervisors to ensure smooth operations across the entire processing plant.
Train and supervise staff, providing feedback and guidance to improve performance.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and maintain accurate records of operations and testing results.
Identify and resolve any issues or obstacles that may impact the growth and development of the poultry stock.
Continually assess and improve processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
Collaborate with the management team to set goals, plan for growth, and evaluate performance.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within a poultry processing plant.
Proven experience with testing procedures and quality control in a poultry environment.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to make decisions quickly and effectively.
A deep understanding of poultry growth and development processes.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and productivity.
Proficiency in using computer systems for record keeping and reporting.
A degree in a related field would be advantageous but is not essential.
