Position Summary
The Senior Analyst – Kroger/FDM is responsible for supporting category management, analytics, and retail execution for the Kroger business and broader FDM channel. This role partners with sales, category management, and retail partners to deliver data‑driven insights that support category growth, promotional effectiveness, and shelf optimization. The ideal candidate will have direct experience working with Kroger systems and data platforms, including 84.51° and JDA Planogram software.
Key Responsibilities
Lead category and sales analytics for Kroger and FDM accounts to identify growth opportunities and performance trends
Develop insights and recommendations using 84.51° data, retailer POS, and syndicated data sources
Support category management initiatives, including assortment optimization, promotional evaluation, and category reviews
Build and maintain planograms using JDA/Blue Yonder POG software in alignment with retailer merchandising strategies
Partner with Sales and Customer Teams to support Kroger line reviews, modular resets, and assortment recommendations
Analyze promotional and pricing performance and provide recommendations to improve ROI
Prepare customer‑ready presentations and category reviews for Kroger stakeholders
Monitor competitive activity, category trends, and shopper insights within the FDM channel
Collaborate cross‑functionally with marketing, sales, and supply chain teams to drive execution of category strategies
Required Qualifications
Direct experience working with Kroger strongly required
3–5+ years of experience in category management, retail analytics, or sales analytics within CPG or retail
Strong experience with 84.51° data and reporting tools
Experience building and maintaining planograms using JDA/Blue Yonder POG software
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools
Experience working with POS, syndicated data (Nielsen, Circana/IRI), and retailer analytics platforms
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting FDM (Food, Drug, Mass) retail channels
Experience supporting Kroger category reviews or modular resets
Strong presentation and storytelling skills with customer‑facing materials
Ability to work cross‑functionally with sales and marketing teams

Salary:
$65,00 - 90,000
per year based on experience
