Job Outline

The prime responsibility of the Business Development Manager (BDM) is to drive Future Connectivity Solutions at focus customers representing strategic suppliers across Northern Europe. Future Connectivity Solutions embraces wireless technologies such as Matter, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Thread, Zigbee, UWB (Ultra-Wide Band), LoRa, Cellular, GPS and RFID/NFC.
The role also includes complimentary promotion of security and authentication solutions. The role requires developing relationships with decision makers at end customers and personally influencing and driving key projects to drive the Demand Creation business.
The role requires the development and execution of a business plan, driving strategic franchises and leveraging the Future Electronics field teams to powerfully deploy Future Connectivity Solutions at end-customers.
What the role involves

Develop close customer relationships to effectively drive ‘Must Win’ projects.
Have principal accountability for success with assigned suppliers. Act as the Northern Europe lead within Future for relevant suppliers.
Develop a wireless business plan with powerful initiatives, gaining mindshare and leveraging the field teams across the Northern Europe organisation
Develop business relationships to a level that will enable Future Electronics in gaining the ‘unfair advantage’
Prepare and conduct effective business reviews with management and suppliers as required.
Work with the technical and marcom teams to develop and execute on demand creation programmes, including driving the launch and co-ordination of new product offerings.
Communicate supplier strengths, product offerings, roadmaps and strategies effectively across the Northern Europe organisation
Develop strong relationships with sales, marketing and technical teams to ensure strong Demand Creation programmes.
Communication with peers across EMEA to share success examples, market information, align programmes and create synergy.
Additional projects or duties as the management may at times require.
Do you have

Ideally educated to degree level with minimum three years relevant experience to deliver a strong understanding of wireless technologies and relevant end customer applications.
Strong credibility, to win the “customer” and develop long term customer relationships.
Proactive, adaptable, organised and results focussed.
Impactful communicator and presenter.
A good understanding of English and German
Knowledgeable with the latest advances and market trends within the vertical business, NFC/RFID,UWB,BT/Zigbee and Thread ,Wi-Fi ,Cellular, GPS, Cybersecurity
