Overview
We’re hiring a hands‑on Construction Foreman to lead crews on ground‑up construction and renovation projects throughout San Diego. This role is ideal for a foreman with strong concrete and carpentry familiarity who enjoys working in the field while leading by example.
This is not a desk‑only role — the foreman will actively work alongside the crew and coordinate daily tasks with the Superintendent and subcontractors.
What You’ll Do
Lead and work alongside crews on active job sites
Perform and oversee concrete and carpentry work, including:
Formwork and slab‑on‑grade
Plywood walls and general site carpentry
Support renovation work, punch‑list items, and finishing tasks
Coordinate daily activities with Superintendents and subcontractors
Ensure quality workmanship and safe jobsite practices
Participate in basic site documentation and labor tracking
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of experience as a Foreman or Lead Carpenter
Strong experience in concrete and carpentry
Experience on ground‑up construction or renovations
Ability to read and understand plans
Hands‑on leadership style — leads from the field
Reliable, accountable, and team‑oriented
Bonus Skills (Not Required)
Experience supporting multiple trades (general construction exposure)
OSHA 30 certification
Experience on school or public works projects
Familiarity with safety meetings or site coordination

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $46.00 - $54.00/hr.
