Overview
Support field electrical maintenance activities and electrical isolation (LOTO) for lighting, air conditioning, and motor systems. This role is responsible for executing both preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure maximum equipment reliability and operational uptime.
Tasks & Responsibilities
Perform electrical maintenance and troubleshooting on field equipment
Execute Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures for safe isolation of systems
Plan and carry out scheduled preventive and breakdown maintenance
Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors as required
Ensure compliance with Management of Change (MOC) processes for plant modifications
Identify opportunities for cost savings, efficiency, and process improvements
Maintain high SSHE standards and promote safe work practices
Utilize Observation Safety Techniques (OST) to report safe/unsafe conditions
Participate in waste management practices
Attend daily operations morning meetings
Qualifications
Current Journeyman or Master Electrician License (Texas) – Required
Experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in oil & gas
Strong troubleshooting and field diagnostics capability
Ability to clearly communicate field conditions and recommend solutions
Proven ability to work in team environments without direct authority
Ability to handle changing priorities and workload demands
Proficient in Microsoft Office
