Team Driver
Empire National is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Driver with a Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) to join our fleet in Fletcher, NC. As a team driver, you and your partner will work together to safely and efficiently transport goods, ensuring timely deliveries and superior service.
Compensation
Up to 67cpm for each person in a team.
Performance-based bonuses.
Fuel and maintenance incentives.
Responsibilities
Operate Class A commercial motor vehicles as a team, adhering to all state and federal regulations.
Transport goods over designated routes, maintaining safety and delivery schedules.
Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections, ensuring the vehicle’s safe and reliable operation.
Collaborate with your driving partner to effectively manage driving shifts.
Maintain accurate records of hours of service, fuel and delivery documentation.
Communicate with dispatchers, customers and team members professionally.
Requirements
Must possess a Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and a valid medical card.
Experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, ELD units, tablet, etc.).
Ability to drive long hours at a time.
The driver should not be prohibited in the DOT Clearinghouse.
Must be at least 23 years old.
Must have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR); no DUI in the last 5 years.
Ability to follow instructions and complete required safety training when needed.
Preferable 2+ years of experience.
Must be able to have flexibility with departure schedules.
