Capital Infrastructure Specialist

Full-Time - $52,800.00 - $77,376.00 Annually

Clerk, Public Health & Social Services

Full-Time - $48,558.24 - $65,272.08 Annually

Department: Public Health and Social Services

Under close supervision, provides customer service on behalf of Lewis County Public Health & Social Services; performs a variety of clerical functions in support of departmental operations.

Key responsibilities: assisting the public at the service counter for all departmental business; responding to customers via phone, email, and in person seeking information; registering customers for services and providing intake or check‑in support for programs such as environmental health.

Road Maintenance / Engineering Technician

Full-Time - $62,820.72 - $84,462.00 Annually

A temporary position held within the Road Maintenance or Engineering Sections of the Department of Public Works.

Under close supervision, performs traffic control duties and maintains County roads in accordance with all safety regulations and procedures.

Key duties include performing traffic control and flagging activities, placing signs and barricades, and following safety rules and regulations on all work zones and flagging sites.

Juvenile Detention Officer

Department: Public Works

Division: Road Maintenance

Under general supervision, coordinates and performs a variety of detention duties on behalf of the Lewis County Juvenile Detention Center; provides for the safety, security, and care of detainees; monitors surveillance equipment and inmate well‑being; supervises detainee activities; prepares and maintains detention records and reports.

Work schedules are variable, dependent upon the needs of the facility; employees may be required to work days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Assignments may occur with little advance notice, including same‑day call‑ins.

Housing Program Coordinator

Full-Time - $48,558.24 - $65,272.08 Annually

Department: Public Health and Social Services

Under general supervision, develops and implements housing programs for supportive housing projects and social services for the homeless and at‑risk populations; writes grant applications and contracts, and manages grant‑funded programs, policies and technical reporting.

Manages and coordinates public housing programs for at‑risk populations throughout Lewis County in compliance with federal and Washington state grant program standards.
