What You Will Do
The Senior Supply Planner will be responsible for supporting and enhancing the Planning group for US and Canadian businesses. The incumbent will manage the supply planning of imported and domestic products in their business segment utilizing SAP/ERP systems, leading, coaching, and overseeing the day‑to‑day of their assigned planners, and will work closely with demand forecasting analysts, sales, marketing, finance, and supplying plants to drive production requirements. Additional responsibilities include:

Analyze consumption versus forecast and maintain satisfactory service levels while meeting inventory targets.

Work closely with sales and marketing departments to manage aggressive new product pipelines.

Make appropriate changes to maintain delivery schedules as commercial and production requirements change.

Lead the Demand Alignment component of the Sales & Operations Planning process for your business segment ensuring alignment across functions to deliver robust operational, supply, and innovation execution plans.

Work closely with global PVM plants and local 3rd party plants to replenish everyday items and to manage new item launches.

Demonstrate leadership and people development skills and the desire to grow as a leader in the organization.

Influence cross‑functional teams at all levels of the organization and across geographies.

What We Need From You

Requires BA/BS in Business Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering or related field.

Prefer 5–7 years’ experience in supply chain in areas with influence over supply/demand and new product launch. Examples include production planning, materials management, distribution, inventory management, or warehouse management.

Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to provide coaching and support to their teams.

Prefer project/program management skills; ability to actively participate in and lead cross‑functional project teams internally, or to manage across supplier teams externally for projects.

Prefer experience in Continuous Improvement processes and cultures.

Prefer SAP or other ERP system experience.

Prefer understanding of the Sales & Operations Planning and New Product Launch processes.

Ability to contribute to a high‑performance organization.

Ability to influence across diverse levels of an organization and across functions.

Financial/business literacy and analytical skills.

Ability to build productive relationships internally and externally.

Written and verbal communication skills. Ability to present complex data in simple, cohesive form to aid effective decision making.

Ability to quickly establish credibility and navigate across matrix organizations while engaging others to ensure the most effective solutions are implemented.

Confidence and success in problem resolution, resourcefulness and ability to adapt to changes.
