We are looking for a Quality Manager to oversee the quality management system, ensuring compliance with international standards and leading continuous improvement initiatives.
Job Overview
The Quality Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for customer quality management, communicate high standards of product excellence, and report to the Corporate Quality Manager/Plant Manager.
A Day In The Life
Develop, implement, and maintain the quality management system to ensure compliance with international quality standards.
Act as chief liaison for all quality-related customer interactions, ensuring satisfaction and strong relationships.
Coordinate with department heads to integrate quality assurance practices into production and operational procedures.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the quality management system, initiating continuous improvement activities.
Prepare detailed reports on quality metrics, audit results, and inspection outcomes for senior management.
Lead training sessions and workshops to elevate quality awareness and capabilities across the organization.
What will help you thrive in this role?
Over 5 years of Quality Management experience in an ISO 9001 certified environment.
Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
Experience with SAP.
Proficient in understanding electrical power and distribution systems.
Skilled in interpreting electrical and mechanical blueprints and specifications.
Well-versed with U.L., ETL standards, and NEC interpretations.
Knowledgeable about OSHA requirements, including hazardous materials.
Strong technical writing, interpersonal communication, and organization skills.
Proficient in MS Office Suite; experience with BIM360 is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under pressure.
Attention to detail and technical aptitude.
Motivational and influence skills; conflict resolution ability.
