Business Development Manager

COMPENSATION:

Summary
The Business Development Manager will have the opportunity to establish a new client base and drive revenue growth for the company. The successful candidate will have a proven record of prospecting and new business development in the refineries and petrochemical plants.

Responsibilities

Establish and manage important relationships with new prospects and existing clients

Develop new sales opportunities through existing relationships, market research

This role will participate in industry events and proactive outreach to potential clients

Identify prospects and existing clients’ needs that fit the company’s services capabilities

Strong follow up on opportunities

Ensure customer satisfaction through client communications

Strong interpersonal and communication skills; writing, editing, and presenting

Confer with clients to understand business objectives and strategic direction

Conduct formal presentations and close new business

Prepare and execute an annual sale plan

Maintain records of conversations and correspondences with prospects and clients

Maintain a sales pipeline report

Qualifications

5+ years of industrial successful services sales experience

Background in water treatment, and chemical treatment

Experience with filtration systems and skid units design systems

Must have relationships in petrochemical/refining target industries

Strong sense of ambition, self-motivation, and self-discipline

Stable tenure in majority of roles

Working knowledge of MS Office, Outlook and ACT or other CRM software
