Compensation: USD 95,000 - USD 120,000 - yearly

The Media Group Strategy and Business Development team is looking for a Sr. Analyst to join its New York-based team. This team partners closely with senior leadership—including the Chairman of NBCUniversal Media Group, the CFO & EVP of Strategy of the NBCUniversal Media Group, and the President of Platform Partnerships & Distribution—on high‑priority initiatives that shape the strategic direction of the business. Reporting to the Vice President of Strategy & Business Development, the Senior Analyst will play an integral role in advancing distribution strategy across Peacock, linear, and broadcast platforms. The role offers broad exposure across NBCU Media Group businesses, including NBC, Peacock, and Bravo, and provides the opportunity to contribute analysis that directly informs executive‑level decision‑making.

Here You Will:

Support and lead analytical workstreams related to distribution strategy, business planning, and new growth initiatives

Build, maintain, and interpret financial and business models to evaluate performance, risks, and strategic scenarios

Analyze first‑ and third‑party data to assess key business drivers and performance indicators

Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic recommendations

Identify emerging trends, partnership opportunities, and evolving business models aligned with long‑term Media Group priorities

Collaborate cross‑functionally with teams across Media Group and the broader NBCUniversal organization to support execution of strategic initiatives

Translate complex analyses into clear, executive‑ready presentations and written materials

Here You’ll Need:

1+ years’ experience in corporate strategy, investment banking, management consulting, private equity, or related analytical roles within media, technology, or consumer‑focused businesses

Demonstrated proficiency in Excel, including experience developing and working with complex financial and business models

Ability to synthesize quantitative and qualitative information to evaluate both near‑term performance and long‑term strategic implications

Clear verbal and written communication skills, including experience creating polished PowerPoint presentations for senior audiences

Comfort working across multiple workstreams, adapting to evolving priorities, and delivering on tight timelines

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent analytical or professional experience

Additional Requirements

Hybrid: This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.

Salary range:

$95,000 - $120,000
