Location: Chicago, IL (Remotely)
Duration: 12+ months

Client is seeking a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Business Analyst to act as the liaison between marketing stakeholders and technical teams. This role is responsible for gathering requirements, translating business needs into Marketing Cloud solutions, and ensuring campaigns, journeys, and data processes align with business goals.
The ideal candidate understands digital marketing concepts, customer journeys, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud capabilities, and can convert complex requirements into clear, actionable documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Requirements

Partner with marketing, CRM, and analytics teams to understand business objectives and campaign needs
Elicit, document, and manage functional and non-functional requirements for Salesforce Marketing Cloud initiatives
Translate business requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and solution designs
Salesforce Marketing Cloud Enablement Support the design and optimization of journeys, automations, and segmentation strategies
Collaborate with architects and developers to ensure solutions align with Marketing Cloud best practices
Assist with configuration validation, UAT, and release readiness
Data & Reporting Analyze customer data and campaign performance to identify trends and insights
Define reporting requirements and KPIs for marketing initiatives
Ensure data requirements are clearly defined and aligned with source systems
