Job Overview
The Media and Social Marketing Manager leads the creation, facilitation and execution of multi‑channel media and social plans for our client’s Brand Marketing. The role focuses on digital and social campaigns including programmatic display/video, Meta, Snapchat, and TikTok. Duties include creating the paid media strategy (a focus on retargeting), media planning, buying, and campaign optimization. Responsibilities also include ongoing management of agency resources, performance analysis and optimizations, data‑driven insights to drive innovation, channel management, and budget management.
We offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to be in the office 4 days per week. This position can be based in one of the following locations: San Antonio, TX; Plano, TX; Phoenix, AZ; Colorado Springs, CO; Charlotte, NC; Chesapeake, VA; or Tampa, FL. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
What You’ll Do
Develop and optimize complex multi‑channel media strategies.
Collaborate with the Media Team to translate and interpret business intelligence and internal client objectives before guiding media agencies.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and management to understand the parameters for developing media strategies.
Socialize media recommendations to partners and/or management, explaining rationale for media strategy and how it meets business objectives and adheres to best practices.
Ensure all necessary client media plans are implemented correctly and in a timely manner.
Manage moderately complex budget plans and communicate status with management and internal/external partners as needed.
Serve as a primary resource to team members on escalated matters of an unusual nature.
Apply advanced knowledge of social and digital marketing principles, acting as a subject‑matter expert in the primary channel.
Effectively direct agencies to ensure alignment with goals and prioritization.
Apply advanced understanding of analytics and measurement tools to test and optimize performance against objectives.
Ensure risks associated with business activities are identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.
What You Have
Bachelor’s degree or four years of related experience.
Six or more years of experience in marketing, sales, advertising and/or communications, with at least three years in one or more of the following areas: social marketing, digital marketing, website merchandising, search marketing, mobile marketing, or digital campaign management.
Advanced knowledge of digital or social marketing industry and practices.
Experience influencing business decisions.Experience facilitating and/or participating in cross‑functional teams.
Experience collaborating with key stakeholders.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Advanced knowledge of the impact of social marketing on an omni‑channel experience.
What Sets You Apart
Robust background with deep expertise in programmatic and social channels.
In‑house (brand) or agency experience executing paid media.
Deep understanding of the Military community.
Compensation
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $58,000 to $80,000 per year. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
