
Civil Site Design – Design Engineer (NJ) Full-Time

Requirements
5+ years of relevant experience
Must have proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
Must have experience in land development and site design
General knowledge in stormwater management design, grading, erosion & sediment control, and utility design
Familiar with regulatory agency permitting (i.e. NJDEP) and subdivision and site plan approvals, municipal codes, and ordinances
Strong work ethic
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
High attention to detail
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Ability to design multiple concurrent projects
Position Description
Review municipal zoning, land development ordinances, regulatory agency regulations, utility service research, perform due diligence
Prepare or assist with concept plans, site plans, erosion and sediment control plans and applications, utility design on a wide variety of small to large land development projects
Coordinate/correspond with municipal officials, regulatory agencies, subconsultants, project team members, and contractors
