Academic Year Internship Program Details
Program Dates: September 21, 2026 – April 23, 2027
Time Commitment: 16–24 hours per week. Schedule will be determined based on business needs and will accommodate course schedules.
Format: Opportunities listed will require an intern to work from New York, NY.
Areas of Placement
Publicity: Intern will help with press junkets, research media outlets & contacts, and compile coverage reports.
Basic Requirements
Must be actively enrolled in a degree‑granting program at an accredited institution for the entire duration of the program (September 2026 through April 2027). December 2026 graduates are not eligible.
Current class standing of sophomore or higher (30 credits).
Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work‑visa sponsorship from NBCUniversal now or in the future.
Must be available to work 16–24 hours per week during the internship period.
Must be willing to work in New York, NY.
Desired Characteristics
Students with class standing of junior or above preferred.
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
Detail‑oriented, analytical, strategic thinker, creative, researcher, energetic, resourceful, self‑starter, strong time‑management.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
High level of organization and ability to manage multiple projects with various deadlines.
Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and proofreading.
Energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
Hourly Rate: $19.00
