Your new role

The Assistant Community Manager supports the overall operations of a residential community while partnering closely with the Community Manager to ensure strong financial performance and resident satisfaction. This role plays a key part in leasing, rent administration, customer service, and compliance, while stepping into leadership responsibilities when needed.


What you'll need to succeed

  • 2+ years of experience as an Assistant Community Manager
  • Working knowledge of LIHTC / Tax Credit affordable housing programs
  • Strong understanding of Fair Housing laws and landlord‑tenant regulations
  • Proven experience with rent collection, bookkeeping, and resident ledgers
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to remain professional and solution‑focused in sensitive situations
  • Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and resourceful
  • Comfortable using property management systems and Microsoft Office tools
  • Experience with Yardi Voyager preferred
