Business Account Executive
Seattle, WA
We are partnering with Alnylam Pharmaceuticals to identify experienced Business Account Executives (BAEs) to join their commercial team supporting AMVUTTRA™. This is a high-impact, field-based role focused on improving the diagnostic journey and treatment of patients with hATTR amyloidosis—many of whom go years without an accurate diagnosis.
Alnylam is a global leader in RNAi therapeutics, built on Nobel Prize–winning science, with a strong pipeline and continued commercial growth.
This role is ideal for a specialty sales professional who thrives in a true selling environment, enjoys building strategic relationships, and wants to play a meaningful role in advancing patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and target HCPs and key accounts treating TTR amyloidosis
- Develop and execute territory business plans to drive brand awareness and adoption
- Educate physicians to support patient identification and diagnosis
- Build and maintain strong relationships with cardiology and specialty accounts
- Partner cross-functionally with market access, patient services, and commercial teams
- Analyze territory performance and adjust strategy to achieve business objectives
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of biotech or specialty pharmaceutical sales experience
- Cardiology experience required
- Proven track record of strong sales performance
- Experience with specialty product launches preferred
- Knowledge of hospital/institutional pharmacy processes
- Strong communication, collaboration, and strategic thinking skills
- Willingness to travel ~60% within territory
