A school-based BCBA opportunity is available in Chicopee, MA, supporting students across multiple grade levels including 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 10th, 11th, and 12th grades. This role involves working under a contract arrangement within an educational setting, providing behavioral expertise and intervention to support student success.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention plans.
Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to implement effective behavioral strategies.
Monitor and analyze student progress, making data-driven adjustments to interventions.
Provide training and consultation to school personnel on behavior management techniques.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support holistic student development.
Qualifications:
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential required.
Experience working with diverse age groups ranging from early elementary to high school.
Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and educational strategies.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize effectively within a school environment.
