About the Role
The Company is in need of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide strategic and hands-on leadership in finance and accounting for its global manufacturing and distribution operations. The CFO will be responsible for setting and driving the financial strategy, leading the annual operating plan, and supporting long-term capital planning. This role requires the ability to translate strategy into measurable financial and operating targets, as well as serving as the executive sponsor for ongoing ERP implementation. The successful candidate will also be tasked with driving reporting automation, KPI visibility, and leveraging automation and AI for various financial processes.
Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a minimum of 12 years' of progressive finance leadership experience in apparel or a closely related consumer/retail manufacturing and distribution sector. End-to-end ERP implementation leadership, experience with global sourcing and manufacturing, and a strong command of US GAAP are essential. The role also demands a technology-forward mindset, particularly in the areas of automation and AI, and a proven track record in negotiating commercial terms with major retailers. A Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required, with a preference for candidates holding a CPA and/or MBA. The CFO will be expected to manage a range of financial activities, including international sourcing, factory relationships, logistics, and financial administration of licensing portfolios.
