A growing, physician-led health system in north central Pennsylvania is seeking a BE/BC Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join an established, collaborative orthopedic team within a high-acuity regional referral environment. Position Highlights:Join one other fellowship-trained trauma surgeon in a well-established orthopedic trauma serviceComfortable participation in occasional Level II trauma callStrong interdisciplinary partnerships with general orthopedics, podiatry, and plastic surgery locally and across the regionDedicated support team including 6 experienced PA-C/CRNP providers and 2 surgical first-assist techsFlexible schedule with protected block OR time (4 out of 5 weekdays)High-functioning, team-based surgical environment with strong clinical supportBrand-new outpatient clinic space located steps from the ED and operating roomsOpportunity to practice in a growing regional orthopedic network with strong referral volume Practice Environment:Integrated orthopedic trauma service within a busy regional medical centerClose collaboration with emergency medicine and surgical specialties in a high-acuity settingStrong operative volume with efficient OR access and dedicated block schedulingWell-supported inpatient and outpatient workflows designed to maximize surgical focusGrowing orthopedic program with long-term stability and expansion potential Compensation & Benefits:MGMA-competitive base salarySign-on bonus and annual incentive compensationGenerous vacation timeCME time and stipendRelocation assistance availableOccurrence-based medical malpractice coverageRobust retirement plan and comprehensive benefits package Community: This scenic north central Pennsylvania region offers a relaxed, family-friendly lifestyle with a low cost of living, strong schools, and easy access to abundant outdoor recreation including state parks, hiking trails, rivers, fishing, and year-round activities in the nearby mountains.
