About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President of Operations to provide strategic and hands-on leadership in scaling and driving operational excellence across its national commercial landscaping branches. The successful candidate will be tasked with ensuring consistent service delivery, margin improvement, and safety performance across multiple regions. This executive will be a key partner in executing growth initiatives, standardizing best practices, and developing high-performing regional and branch leadership teams. The role demands a proven operations leader with a background in commercial landscaping, facilities services, or a related field involving labor-intensive, multi-site operations.

Key responsibilities for the Vice President of Operations include leading day-to-day operations, driving efficiency and profitability, and establishing and monitoring KPIs. The role also involves owning the operational P&L, developing and executing annual operating plans, and identifying cost-control initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on people and culture, with a proven track record in building and developing leadership teams, creating a culture of accountability and safety, and supporting talent retention initiatives. Experience in process improvement, scalability, and a customer-centric approach is essential, as is a Bachelor's degree and a willingness to travel regularly. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus, and experience in supporting acquisitions and integration is preferred.
