Part-Time Interventional Pain Physician – Mount Vernon, IllinoisPosition Overview Permanent position Part-time Outpatient clinic Monday–Friday, 8:00a–5:00p No formal call schedule After-hours handled via answering service with physician-to-physician consultsTraining, Licensure & Board Requirements (High Priority) Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible – Required Fellowship Trained in Interventional Pain Medicine ACGME-accredited fellowship required Acceptable Primary Training: Anesthesiology PM&RPractice Setting & Support May work alongside: Other physicians and/or APPs RNs, LPNs, and MAs (varies by site) All patients are chronic pain referrals Not solely personal injury casesProcedures & Clinical Expectations Bread-and-butter interventional pain procedures Common procedures include: Medial Branch Blocks (MBB) Radiofrequency Ablations (RFA) Spinal cord stimulator trials Open to discussing: Procedures the physician does and does not perform to assess fit While primarily interventional: Medication management expected when clinically appropriateCompensation & Contract Structure 1099 position Competitive compensation (discussed directly with client) Two-year guarantee After Year 2: Transition to collections-based model Collect 100% of professional fees minus direct expensesBenefits & Additional Support Medical malpractice insurance provided Stipend toward health insurance expenses Stipend toward CME and licensing expenses COVID-19 exemptions available, if desiredOrganization Information Nationwide pain management group Partners with rural community hospitals Locations are typically within one hour of a metropolitan areaNext Steps RecruitWell can arrange a phone call with the client to discuss the opportunity and determine mutual fit Referral candidates welcomed — ask about referral fees RecruitWells Core Values:Open communicationSense of urgencyTeamworkAccountabilityDriven to winHigher consciousness
