Locums Cardiology opening in Palmer, AKLocation: Palmer, AK – 45 minutes from AnchorageScheduled Clinical Hours + CallOutpatient and inpatient cardiology coverage at a Level III Trauma Center. Admissions required.Assignment/Call Details: ASAP – Ongoing Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call Call: Beeper Call Response Time: 30 minutes Call Ratio: 50% Call Back Percentage: 50% Phone Consults per shift: 2 Patients Seen during call: 1 Admissions per shift: 1---Clinical Details: Volume: 15 patients per shift Setting: Outpatient and Inpatient (ICU coverage required) Rounding: Assigned and Unassigned Patients EMR: Cerner and Athena Trauma Level: III Stroke Certified Facility Support Staff: 2 RNs, 4 MAs, 1 PA/NP and 2 Office Staff Admissions Required: Yes No APP supervision required No resident supervision required Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 15 days Alaska license required (licensing reimbursement available)---Requirements: Board Eligible or Board Certified in Cardiology Fellowship training required Active Alaska medical license ABLS, ACLS, and BLS certifications required---Skills Required: Outpatient Cardiology Inpatient Cardiology ICU management Non-invasive Cardiology Echocardiography Preferred: Nuclear Cardiology---Compensation Info: Travel Expenses: Reimbursed Rates Unknown – (Submit your rates) Malpractice provided
