The Walt Disney World Resort invites you to explore Bus Mechanic opportunities. Interviews will occur in‑person on Tuesday, May 19th, 2026, from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM on Disney property.
Descrição do cargo:
Bus Mechanics are responsible for keeping our bus fleet in full repair so that our guests get where they need to go on time, comfortably, and safely. The facility has state‑of‑the‑art lifts and equipment, excellent ventilation, and even awnings to keep the sun off your back. Mechanics answer non‑routine service calls, perform daily fleet inspections, fuel the fleet, and perform minor repairs at the satellite maintenance facility.
Responsabilidades:
Keep the bus fleet in full repair, ensuring safe, efficient operation.
Respond to non‑routine service calls and perform daily inspections.
Fuel the fleet and perform minor repairs at the satellite maintenance facility.
Qualificações básicas:
4 years of relative in‑field professional experience
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Valid FL Driver’s license
Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
Proficiency in standard office software programs and mobile electronic devices
Ability to work from elevated platforms and confined spaces
Fleet B Bus/Diesel Mechanic:
Valid Florida CDL Class A or B with passenger endorsement, or a valid Florida CDL Class A or B Permit with passenger endorsement required upon hire
ASE certification(s) in T4 or H4 “Air Brakes” and EPA MVAC 609 Air Conditioning certification required within 90 days of hire
DOT compliant position
Company will provide the required CDL training
Area Mechanic Mechanical:
Valid FL Driver’s License required upon hire
Valid Florida CDL Class A or B with passenger permit required within 90 days of hire
ASE certification(s) in T4 or H4 “Air Brakes” and EPA MVAC 609 Air Conditioning certification required within 90 days of hire
Company will provide the required CDL training
Qualificações desejadas:
Over 4 years’ experience in transit maintenance repair
Experience with Cummins Insite diagnostic
Knowledge of Therma King IntelligAire climate control systems
Experience with marquee destination sign repair
Multiplex Electronic Equipment experience
Familiarity with transit GPS tracking
Understanding of wheelchair lift/ramp
SCHEDULE AVAILABILITY:
Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Please note that the principles of seniority are used to schedule all roles.
Compensation:
Pay rate for Fleet B Bus/Diesel Mechanic in Florida: $29.59 per hour. Pay rate for Area Mechanic Mechanical in Florida: $25.76 per hour. Select benefits may be provided as part of the compensation package, such as medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
