Position Overview
Production Director for the Standard Missile‑6 (SM‑6) FY27+ Multi‑Year Program. The role will lead proposal development and execution of the FY27+ multi‑year contract, driving the transition of the SM‑6 program to a new configuration and ramping throughput from approximately 120 missiles per year to 500 missiles per year by 2030. The position is onsite at the Tucson, AZ facility.
Security Clearance
Active U.S. Government‑issued Secret clearance required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required to obtain the clearance.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with NSMS directorates to ensure successful transition to production of a new configuration, increase throughput, and cut obsolescence & producibility updates.
- Set program priorities, resolve conflicts and barriers, implement gates and lead major reviews with the customer.
- Coordinate and align interactions, dependencies, and transactions between customers and other performing parties to execute the production plan required to grow throughput from 120/yr to 500/yr by 2030.
- Manage profit and loss, Annual Operating Plan (AOP) development and execution, and program Estimate at Completion (EAC) calculations.
- Lead proposal development for the FY27+ multi‑year production program.
- Define program tasking and milestones; monitor adherence to cost, schedule, technical performance, and factory/supplier readiness.
- Champion program management best practices for production execution.
- Coordinate and align interactions among customers, suppliers, and internal performing organizations.
- Lead change management activities, including proposing and implementing constructive changes.
- Travel up to 30% or more for domestic business engagements with customers, partners, and teammates.
Qualifications You Must Have
- University Degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 14 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with a minimum of 10 years’ experience.
- Prior experience executing large‑scale production programs, including factory readiness, supplier readiness, and configuration transitions.
- Prior experience leading cross‑functional teams across engineering, operations, contracts, finance, and supply chain.
- Prior experience with Risk & Opportunity Management and Earned Value Management.
- Prior experience with rate‑ramp planning, industrial base growth, and producibility improvement.
- Prior experience managing program financials, including EACs, AOP, and profit and loss.
- Prior experience working with and supporting customer and internal stakeholder engagement.
Preferred Qualifications
- Raytheon Program Management Certification Level 3 Certification, or ability to obtain within one year.
- Demonstrated program execution experience managing program staffing, assignments and resources.
- Working knowledge of contract formation, execution, and management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
