Diablo Valley Literacy Council is hiring: Publicity Outreach in Concord

Diablo Valley Literacy Council (DVLC) is an all-volunteer organization whose mission is to assist adults in the Diablo Valley (Central Costa County) area who need to improve their English as a second language. We offer free, flexible one-on-one ESL tutoring. We are seeking the following role - Social Media/Publicity Outreach
This role includes the following:
Coordinating advertising and communication regarding recruitment of volunteers for DVLC
Managing the DVLC VolunteerMatch account. Use VolunteerMatch to recruit volunteers, board members (when needed) and to post current workshop dates.
Managing and maintaining an e-mail contact list, and communicating to local community and neighborhood organizations regarding volunteer tutor recruitment and sharing current training dates (twice a year -- spring and fall.)
Social media - manage Facebook, LinkedIn and others portals that would promote DVLC's literacy mission.
Managing existing, and seeking new/alternative ways to recruit volunteers.
Attending local community events to find tutors and (when needed) students.
