Job Description
The Digital Marketer contributes original, expertly written, yet both customer-oriented and easily understood product descriptions for video/audio production equipment. A well-written product description includes a detailed overview, which summarizes various benefits of the product, as well as elaborating and highlighting the specific features and unique technologies. The candidate will manage eCommerce website enhancement on www.coremicro.com. Requirements include conducting comprehensive research on assigned products utilizing professional, vendor, blogs, and other relevant resources. Collaborates with internal departments to gain information for product descriptions, prioritizes workflow to complete high urgency descriptions, drafts a complete, professional, customized, and non-copied description to elucidate and improve customer understanding of a product and related features, responds to bugs or requests to correct and update description content, composes additional content for necessary fields such as "What's in the Box," technical specifications, etc. Writes material in conformity to company formatting and content standards, develops marketing strategies that align with the organization's business goals, manages and executes campaigns across various digital channels, including email, social media, search engines, and display advertising.
Skills required include expert knowledge of computers and mobile technology, prior writing experience is preferred, ability to work full-time on-site at our office, creative writing skills and ability to create a personable aura in writing, professional written and verbal communication skills, strong research skills, ability to learn new products and audiovisual technologies, ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and to work under pressure, detail-oriented and organizational skills, proficient knowledge of Microsoft office & Magento eCommerce platform, strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including SEO, PPC, social media, email marketing, and display advertising.
