Job Summary
WTOC is looking for its next great visual storyteller! We're looking for a self-motivated, excellent communicator and videographer who can work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Gather video, interviews, and information for stories

Set up and execute live shots per shift

Edit stories for broadcast, web, and social media platforms

Contribute to the entire editorial process including sourcing, story construction, and presentation

Use ENG cameras, LiveU, and other broadcasting devices

Support live shots and operate cameras as required

Observe and relay information to the newsroom

Handle other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in journalism, TV production, or related field, or equivalent experience

Non-linear editing experience preferred but not required

Proven ability to post content on social media platforms

Ability to lift up to 35 pounds

Flexible schedule with on-call assignments

MVR check in pre-employment

Self‑motivated with strong communication skills
