The Marketing & Media Manager at National Park College (NPC) serves as the primary execution partner to the Director of Marketing & Public Relations, leading the development and implementation of content, digital media, and marketing initiatives that support enrollment, engagement, and institutional visibility. This position is responsible for producing high-quality visual and digital content, managing social media strategy and execution, and coordinating marketing projects and operational processes. The role requires a high level of independence, organization, and initiative, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure timely completion of projects across the department.
The salary range for this position is $48,000-$55,000.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Content Creation & Digital Media

Develop and manage engaging social media content across platforms, including photography, video, and graphic design.
Produce and edit short-form and long-form video content, with emphasis on vertical video.
Capture and edit photography for use in digital, print, and web materials.
Design marketing materials and graphics aligned with NPC brand standards.
Maintain and organize a digital content library of photos, videos, and design assets.
Social Media Management & Performance

Manage day-to-day social media operations, including scheduling, posting, and engagement.
Monitor platform performance and analytics to inform content decisions and improve outcomes.
Stay informed on current trends in social media, digital marketing, and content strategy.
Marketing Execution & Campaign Support

Execute marketing and recruitment campaigns across digital, social, and print channels.
Adapt and produce creative assets for multiple platforms, including advertisements, email, and web.
Support storytelling efforts through written and visual content that highlights students, programs, and campus life.
Collaborate with campus departments to identify and develop content opportunities.
Project Coordination & Operations

Coordinate marketing projects, timelines, and deliverables to ensure timely execution.
Communicate with internal stakeholders and external vendors, including print and advertising partners.
Assist with purchasing processes, including purchase orders, invoices, and vendor coordination.
Support production of marketing materials and ensure projects align with deadlines and budget expectations.
Additional Responsibilities

Provide photography and video coverage for key campus events as needed.
Ensure all communications and materials align with NPC brand standards and messaging.
Occasional evening and/or weekend work required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities

Strong experience in social media management and digital content creation.
Proficiency in graphic design (Adobe Creative Suite preferred; Canva acceptable).
Experience in photography, videography, and video editing.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including storytelling ability.
Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and problem solve effectively.
Ability to collaborate across departments and communicate with diverse audiences.
Understanding of marketing analytics, media planning, and campaign performance is preferred.
Familiarity with current trends in digital marketing and social media is preferred.
Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, digital media, or related field.
Equivalent experience may be substituted for education upon approval.
Experience in marketing, communications, or advertising, preferably in higher education.
Demonstrated experience in content creation, social media, and marketing execution.
Portfolio of relevant work (photo, video, design).
Experience with budgeting, purchasing, or administrative coordination.
Physical Requirements

Long periods of sitting and/or standing.
Long periods of working at a computer.
Ability to use a mouse and keyboard.
