Senior Front End Developer

Compensation:

$120k-150k base salary

Location:

San Antonio, TX (Onsite 5 days/week)

Overview : Join a mission-critical program supporting secure, high-impact federal systems. This role focuses on leading front-end development, designing intuitive user experiences, and building scalable UI solutions within a cloud-based, Agile environment.

Requirements:

10+ years of software development experience (Object-Oriented languages like: JavaScript, Node.js, or similar)

5+ years of front-end development experience

3+ years experience in cloud environments (AWS or similar)

3+ years leading or mentoring development teams/projects

Responsibilities:

Lead front-end design and development of user-facing applications

Create wireframes, mockups, and UI components aligned to user needs

Build and optimize responsive, high-performance interfaces

Improve usability, navigation, and overall user experience

Collaborate with product, UX, and backend teams to deliver features end-to-end

Support Agile delivery (planning, development, testing, and release cycles)

Preferred Requirements:

5+ years working with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab)

Experience integrating into DoW DevSecOps environments.

Demonstrated experience in utilizing UX design tool suites (e.g., Sketch, InVision).
