Open Access Publishing Acquisitions Editor

Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (VT) is seeking an Acquisitions Editor responsible for developing and executing an acquisitions strategy for the Press. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and relevant experience in scholarly publishing. Responsibilities include working with scholars on open access initiatives, managing projects, and overseeing the peer review process. Salary is between $60,000 and $65,000 based on qualifications and experience. This position is exempt and not eligible for overtime.
