Job Summary:

The On-Air Talent (Fill In) will report directly to the Assistant Program Director and serve as a member of the Programming Department. You will connect with listeners in a real tangible way, localize your fill-in show, integrate weekly liners into the show, utilize the scheduled music to create connection points. Make sure breaks are in the schedule and that all on air elements during the fill show are correct and tightly segued. Essential Functions:

Fill in for various on air shows as needed (primarily weekends, evenings, and holidays)
Accurate board work
Appropriately respond to a variety of issues that listeners may present
Any other duties assigned
Demonstrated Faith:

Committed to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
Grounded spiritually and biblically literate
Comfortable praying for co-workers in team meetings, leading spoken prayer, and participating in ministry prayer meetings and Bible studies
Live Christian principles defined by the ministry's Statement of Faith & Biblical Beliefs
Participate in on-air fundraisers and prays for donors as needed
Passion for leveraging the HMG's media platforms for evangelism and discipleship
Exhibit a strong moral character
Active member of a Bible believing local church

Requirements

Requirements and Qualifications Education:
High School Diploma or GED
Experience:
Minimum 1 year on air experience
Working knowledge of Zetta, VoxPro and Adobe Audition preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Creative and enthusiastic, team player
Strong grammatical usage and style
Excellent interpersonal skills
Solid computer skills
Knowledgeable, conversant and demonstrates an understanding of KSBJ's audience and the Christian culture at-large
Must be a Christian with a strong, demonstrated commitment to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ
Heart for Christian ministry
Ability to offer Christian prayer
Possesses a genuine concern for all people, and capacity to relate with all people in a sensitive, respectful way
Strong moral character
Has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Spiritually grounded and working knowledge of scripture
Must be an active member of a Bible believing local church
