About The Role
The Communications Coordinator will support the day-to-day operations of the Communications Manager and Marketing Team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about sports communications, digital media, and storytelling, with a strong interest in soccer and fan engagement.

Responsibilities

Assist with digital media and club statistics tracking

Support the marketing team on matchdays, including in-game operations

Write articles covering matches, team news, and community events

Help edit and maintain the club website and app content

Create detailed broadcast match notes

Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and post content

Create and write monthly newsletters and emails

Provide live social media coverage for away matches and produce match recaps

Qualifications

Currently working toward or has a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Sports Management, Business, or a related field

General understanding of soccer and the sports industry

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills

Interest in pursuing a career in the sports industry

Ability to represent the club at business and community events professionally

Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and some holidays

Availability to work all home matches at Weidner Field

Ability to cover away matches remotely throughout the season

Compensation
This position is $15.16/hr
