Web Developer - WordPress WooCommerce

Who This Role Is For
This is not an entry level role.
We are looking for someone who already has real experience working in WordPress and WooCommerce environments and can contribute without constant direction.
You should be someone who:
Has built and maintained WordPress sites in production environments
Has hands on experience with WooCommerce
Is comfortable working in Elementor and/or Bricks Builder
Can step into an existing system, understand how it works, and improve it without breaking things
Takes ownership of their work and follows through
If you need step by step direction for most tasks, this will not be a good fit.
What You Will Be Doing
Debugging and resolving issues across WordPress and WooCommerce sites
Building, maintaining, and improving sites using Elementor and Bricks
Extending functionality with custom code when needed
Improving performance, accessibility, and reliability of existing systems
Handling support requests that require both technical skill and judgment
Communicating with clients when needed in a clear and professional way
Contributing to improvements in how we build and maintain sites internally
There is some routine work. The value in this role comes from how you handle everything that is not routine.
What You Need to Be Good At
Solid experience with WordPress including themes, plugins, and hooks
Hands on experience with WooCommerce in real world environments
Experience working with Elementor and or Bricks Builder
Strong debugging skills with the ability to identify root causes, not just symptoms
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities without getting overwhelmed
Clear communication, especially with non technical clients
Willingness to use AI tools to improve efficiency and output
How We Work
Monday through Friday, approximately 9:30am to 6:00pm with some flexibility
In person collaboration is important for this role
90 day trial period to make sure it is a good fit both ways
After that:
Health insurance with 50 percent employer contribution
