Creative Lead, Organic Growth & Storytelling

This role is designed for a senior creative marketer who can redefine how a product communicates with its audience across organic channels. You will be responsible for shaping a brand voice that transforms complex, often stressful consumer topics into clear, human, and emotionally resonant messaging. Working in a fast-scaling environment, you will collaborate closely with product, design, growth, and customer insights teams to rebuild lifecycle communications from the ground up. Your work will directly influence how millions of users perceive trust, value, and long-term engagement with the brand. This is a high-impact, hands-on role where storytelling, copy excellence, and customer empathy converge. You will also play a key role in evolving organic growth strategies across multiple channels as the brand voice matures.
Accountabilities:

Overhaul and elevate customer communication across CRM, email, SMS, and in-app messaging, shifting from transactional to value-driven storytelling
Define and evolve brand tone of voice across organic surfaces in partnership with leadership, ensuring consistency and emotional resonance
Translate complex, high-stress topics (e.g., insurance, maintenance, repairs) into clear, engaging, and human-centered copy
Collaborate with Product, Design, Growth, and Customer Insights teams to align messaging with user needs and behavioral data
Build trust and engagement through lifecycle campaigns that improve long-term conversion and retention
Shape and execute organic content initiatives such as social media and community-driven storytelling as scope expands
Use qualitative insights, user feedback, and behavioral data to inform empathetic, high-performing creative messaging
Champion creative excellence within a highly analytical, experimentation-driven environment
Requirements:

7+ years of experience in creative marketing with a strong focus on organic growth and copywriting
Proven expertise in writing for consumer-facing brands, particularly in CRM, lifecycle, and social channels
Exceptional copywriting ability with a portfolio demonstrating strong storytelling, tone development, and creative craft
Deep understanding of audience development, product positioning, and emotional messaging
Familiarity with social platforms and community dynamics (including forums such as Reddit)
Ability to translate complex or technical subjects into simple, engaging, and persuasive communication
Strong first-principles thinking and ability to work with qualitative insights and user pain points
Comfortable operating in fast-paced environments and advocating for brand value within data-driven teams
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Competitive salary ranging from $135,000 to $185,000 (US) or CA$125,000 to CA$175,000 (Canada), depending on experience and location
