We are looking for freelance sports writers (no experience necc) who are willing to contribute 2 articles per week, and are open and receptive to feedback.
Everything we do is opinion-driven. We don’t write any news articles or game recaps. Every article is how we feel about the news. We’ll let ESPN report the news and game results, and then we’ll give our opinion on that.
We take a hard anti‑AI approach with writing. Every submitted article is checked for plagiarism and run through several AI detectors. If it is AI written or even if it is human written, but AI assisted, we won’t publish it.
We look at this as a training website, where we can help writers get better, regardless of their experience. For that reason, our editors won’t edit and publish any articles that are submitted. Errors and areas of improvement are highlighted and sent back to the author to make their own changes (like turning in a school paper), and then it will be published.
We only write about the following sports: baseball, basketball, football, soccer, golf, combat sports (so no bowling, billiards, horse racing, ect).
Probably most important, we are a brand new websoite who just finished their first full month of activity. At the end of April we want to add Google adsense to the site for revenue (we will also look into syndication for revenue) and writers will be paid on a per click/view basis. Until we secure the advertising, writers and editors are working for free.
