Account Manager – Responsibilities

Role: Creative, results-focused Account Manager who will take a lead role in managing client PR programs through traditional and social media channels.
Develop and execute a range of proactive PR and social media strategies for assigned clients, identifying opportunities to build clients’ visibility in media outlets.
Develop and implement public relation activities including new product introductions, product reviews, analyst relations, awards and speaker’ bureau opportunities.
Become an expert on clients’ business and competitive landscape; provide strategic recommendations and creative ideas, proactively identifying and addressing clients’ needs.
Ensure the account team effectively executes on the client’s program, meets deliverables and delivers excellent client service.
Build strong senior client relationships, identify and troubleshoot issues, ensuring overall program success.
Manage account teams in execution of all programs, assume accountability for meeting deliverables; mentor and coach team members, supporting their professional development.
Manage budget and allocation of staff resources.
New Business and Account Growth

Identify opportunities to upsell and grow the account; bring in new business through network, experience and meeting established revenue goals.
Create new business pitch decks with strategic, creative thinking; contribute to RFPs and play a key role in new business meetings and messaging/positioning sessions.
Qualifications

5+ years’ experience in public relations in an agency setting.
Preferred experience with B2B tech and cybersecurity.
Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple clients and multiple junior team members.
Ability to conceive and oversee implementation of overall communication programs, targeted product launches, announcements, strategies, message development and corporate positioning.
Track record of leading successful, measurable PR and social media programs for multiple clients.
Desire to work in fast-moving, dynamic, team-oriented environment managing multiple clients simultaneously.
Creative, results-oriented approach to all work produced.
Strong writing skills with experience creating messaging/positioning, press releases, blog posts, byline articles, etc.
Exceptional presentation and communication skills (verbal and written).
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant business experience.

Compensation

The salary ranges from $85,000 to $95,000 based on experience.
