Summary Of Role
We seek an experienced account manager with a P&C license. Salary and title will be commensurate with experience and credentials. The Personal Lines/Personal Risk Account Manager will work with Advisors/Client Executives and Account Executives to service client accounts. The role involves day‑to‑day account management, renewal and marketing process from start to finish, preparation of materials for presentations and communications, and active participation in client meetings. The role is full‑time, based in Wilmington, NC, with standard hours Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. EST. An in‑office presence is required; remote work may be considered only for highly experienced, P&C‑licensed professionals who live outside a normal commuting distance but remain within the EST/Mid‑Atlantic region and can report to the office when necessary.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Proactively maintain relationships with carrier and client contacts and lead client meetings for assigned accounts.
Manage the renewal and marketing process from start to finish in collaboration with Account Executives and Advisors.
Communicate directly with clients and carriers.
Create and maintain client files and keep client policy records in the agency management system.
Manage an assigned book of business.

Ability to work overtime as necessary.

Intermediate experience in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Intermediate experience with agency management system(s).

Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities, deadlines, and technology.
When working from home, must maintain a confidential workspace and high‑speed internet.
Education And/or Experience
More than two years of Personal Lines experience, including recent retail brokerage or agency experience.
Experience with East Coast markets preferred.
EPIC agency management system or similar experience required.
High School Diploma or equivalent required; additional education and/or related training preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, and Registration
P&C insurance license required upon hire.
What We Offer
Competitive salary ranging from $35,000 – $60,000, with base salary determined by experience and credentials. Eligible for performance‑based incentives. The base salary offered will be determined on a case‑by‑case basis. This position may also be eligible for performance‑based incentives.
