PS260 is an elite media studio with creative labs in NYC, Boston and LA.
We partner with brands like American Express, Acura, Dell, Google, Cheetos and more, crafting everything from edit to graphics to VFX to sound — all under one roof.
We’re hiring a full-time experienced Assistant Editor.
Specific duties & responsibilities
Fluency in editing in Premiere
Assist Editors in video editing; building assemblies
Project prep for finishing sessions (EDLs/OMFs)
Project archival
After Effects: comping, graphics, titles
SFx, music and stock footage research
Requirements
Must be located in NYC or Boston
A high level understanding of the technical and creative workflow in advertising/TV commercial post production
2-6 years experience as an Assistant Editor
Proficiency in Premiere, After Effects, Adobe Photoshop. Experience using AI tools a plus.
Must be detail oriented, responsible, organized, self-motivated, passionate, have a positive attitude, be able to function well in fast paced, high volume environment and always seeking to be busy and improve our clients experience.
A strong desire to be a commercial Editor
Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 10 AM to 7 PM; however, overtime or weekend work may be necessary. Schedules may also be adjusted occasionally to support West Coast teams.
