Managing Partner
The Managing Partner serves as the entrepreneurial leader of their assigned business, maintaining full accountability for driving sales, ensuring guest satisfaction, building a great team, and controlling costs. Managing Partners are eligible to participate in the Managing Partner Bonus Plan.
Responsibilities
- Driving Sales
- Personal ownership of revenue, including sales building, group sales, VIP efforts and outreach initiatives.
- Build a strong sense of teamwork and open communication among operational, marketing, promotions and sales leaders to achieve revenue goals.
- Leads from the front
- Present as the “face of the business” during all peak revenue periods, including Thursday–Saturday nights, sports watch events and large group/full venue buyouts.
- Represent the venue in a professional manner to the community, marketing partners, local businesses, civic organizations, and media.
- Ensures Guest Satisfaction
- Deliver an energetic and high-quality guest experience, covering service, food, beverage and entertainment quality.
- Maintain professional company image, facility cleanliness, proper uniforms and appearance standards.
- Serve food and beverage in accordance with company standards and respond to customer service needs.
- Team Building
- Recruit, interview and hire management and hourly team members.
- Foster a culture of pride in the brand.
- Train, motivate, reward, develop and promote team members, taking disciplinary action or termination when necessary.
- Ensure all team members have the tools and equipment needed to perform their jobs.
- Controls Costs
- Maintain cost of goods sold, nightly comps, recap reports and safe audits, overseeing inventory counts.
- Control Profit & Loss by following cash control/security procedures, managing labor, reviewing financial reports and maintaining appropriate stock levels.
- Prepare operational statements and other financial disclosures, taking appropriate actions.
- Manage service contracts with outside vendors, including consulting agreements and entertainment vendors, ensuring proper legal review and approval.
- Ensure daily deposits, safe counts and venue cash are secured at all times.
- Complete financial and personnel/payroll related administrative duties accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain a safe working and guest environment to reduce injury and accident risk, ensuring compliance training is completed.
Qualifications
- Self‑motivated, accomplished leader with a proven track record in entertainment, food, beverage and related concepts.
- At least 5 years’ experience in restaurant
ightclub management; multi‑unit management a plus. - High School Diploma or GED required; 4‑year college degree or equivalent with coursework in restaurant management preferred.
- Reflect and live by the Managing Partner program core values.
- Fluent English; additional languages preferred.
- Excellent people management, communication and listening skills.
- Proven ability to build and lead a team while communicating effectively in writing and verbally.
- Capable of drafting professional written communication to a range of audiences.
- Capable of reading and analyzing basic financial reports and performing fundamental arithmetic.
- Flexibility and adaptability to change.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Internally motivated, detail‑oriented, and passionate about teaching others.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
