Summary
This premier global leader in the food and beverage industry specializes in premium tea and matcha products. They are dedicated to bringing high‑quality, authentic flavors to diverse markets, spanning retail, foodservice, and e-commerce. They are currently seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Specialist to enhance their brand visibility. This individual will leverage various social media platforms and influencer marketing to foster brand awareness and engagement among a global audience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Social Media Management & Strategy

Oversee the day‑to‑day management of the organization’s social media accounts, including scheduling, publishing, and community management.

Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with organizational goals and specific marketing campaigns.

Create and manage content calendars that capitalize on key industry moments, viral trends, and seasonal peaks.

Monitor and identify social media trends and engagement opportunities to proactively leverage brand growth.

Track, analyze, and report on performance using analytics tools, providing monthly insights and quarterly goals to optimize content strategy.

Maintain an organized digital library of images, graphics, and brand assets.

Content Creation

Produce captivating original photo, video, and graphic content specifically tailored for Instagram, TikTok, and other emerging platforms.

Write compelling captions, scripts, and on‑screen text that resonate with the target audience.

Ensure all digital output aligns strictly with brand guidelines, tone, and messaging to maintain a cohesive brand identity.

Influencer & Relationship Management

Identify and onboard relevant influencers and UGC (User Generated Content) creators.

Collaborate with management to define deliverables, timelines, and expectations within onboarding agreements.

Maintain ongoing communication with creators to ensure content quality and messaging meet the organization’s high standards.

Update recipe pages and digital assets with influencer deliverables in accordance with SEO best practices.

Identify and develop collaboration opportunities with relevant external brands to expand social reach.

Marketing & Event Support

Support the Marketing department across all sales divisions (Ingredients, Foodservice, Retail, and E‑commerce) with a focus on social media alignment.

Assist in the coordination and execution of marketing events, including consumer pop-ups and influencer gatherings.

Attend trade shows and events to capture real‑time social content and support general marketing initiatives.

Qualifications

Required

Applicants must submit a professional portfolio (or relevant work samples) and a completed writing sample based on the provided prompt to be considered for an interview.

1‑2 years of post‑graduation experience in Social Media Marketing/Content Creation; or 4‑5 years of relevant experience in the field if no degree has been obtained.

Proven experience promoting Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) is required.

Strong proficiency in Instagram and TikTok platforms, including shooting and editing photo/video content.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Ability to work occasional weekends for event coverage with advance notice.

Preferred

Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four‑year college or university.

Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and/or Lightroom).

Experience with social media and influencer management tools (e.g., Dash Hudson).

Understanding of data collection and its application to improve digital performance.
