Account Manager - Sales - Remote, Belgium
We are looking for a Sales Account Manager for Sony Biotechnology with strong expertise in Flow Cytometry to manage and further develop the France, Belgium, and Luxembourg markets.
In this role, you will be responsible for selling Flow Cytometry instruments and reagents, identifying new customers and instrument opportunities, and managing the existing sales pipeline for Sony Biotechnology. You will report directly to the European Head of Sales.
The ideal candidate has proven experience in flow cytometry and cell sorting, a strong network within the flow cytometry community, and demonstrated success in capital equipment sales, combined with a resilient, hunter‑oriented mindset.
This is a remote position, based in Belgium, with regular travel across the territory.

You Will
Plan and manage personal business portfolio/territory, achieve forecasted sales goals while preserving acceptable gross profit levels
Plan and execute sales, funnel‑building activities that ensure sales satisfaction and growth of the Sony Biotechnology portfolio
Provide forecasts, reports, marketing intelligence and information to the business
Develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and maintain sales activities in Salesforce (CRM)
Plan/carry out/support local marketing activities to agreed budgets and timescales and integrate personal sales efforts with other organised marketing activities, e.g., product launches, promotions, advertising, exhibitions, and telemarketing
Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information
You Will Bring
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in practical flow cytometry and cell sorting
Prior experience selling large capital equipment in the life sciences
Fluency in English. Professional knowledge of local languages is a plus.
